okay so with my exams ending, i decided that it was time to be fully back on my bullshit. but also, i absolutely need to be more organized and to make a to do list because it’s very helpful. it will be both personal and oc related because why not?? anyway, it’s more for myself than for other so feel free to ignore this and not to click on read more! but it’s also helpful if you want to know more about what i’m likely to work on this month/summer.

Furthermore, you are not to speak of Uriel in that degrading manner. Her choices, whatever they may be, remain her own.

Thanks so much for all these 🥰 Galaëd and Anwen are my absolute favourite (but shhhhh 🤫🤭) and I love these occasions to share a few more HC or glimpses of intrigue I shall develop in the fic through these asks 😁

For the deserter thing, I think it would be only a handful of people, but you know, enough that it might come to her or her friends ears. It would hurt no doubt but Anwen would not really fault them for believing that of her.

Unlike in canon, the demotion of Trahearne does not happen after Eir's memorial but merely weeks after the campaign of Maguuma... Seemingly after a reunion to which none of them were invited during which it was determined that as Mordremoth's Champion after his decision to rush the assault on the jungle led the fleet to its destruction and the Pact to near extinction, Trahearne was no longer fit to assume this position of leadership.

So Anwen slamming the door on them is a huge knee-jerk reaction (I didn't say an undeserved one mind you!) and given her absence in between the Campaigns of Orr and Maguuma (well she wasn't exactly on vacation either!) and her unwavering (some would say delusional) determination to rescue Trahearne (and Destiny's Edge!) in the jungle, it's only fair some people assume her loyalty to the Pact was fickle.

As for her ascending to godhood, it's just an amusing rumour to her, and most likely one that shall die out before she returns to civilisation after the defeat of Kralk... After all, Balthazar's Magic was absorbed by Aurene for some and Kralkarotic for the major part, so Anwen's far from Kormir's must-contain-Abbadon's-power-or-it-will-consume-Elona forced ascension. That being said, there is one time where she might have shouted to the gods, begging them to let her ascend, it's when she witnesses the corruption and slow destruction of Kormir's library. Seeing all this knowledge being lost is too much for her to bear and she screams to he void left in the goddess' wake 'Let me protect it! Let me ascend!'

In the end they defeat the minions of Abaddon that infiltrated and corrupted Kormir's domain, but it's one of these utterly shattering moments when Anwen collapses into a black hole instead of a star. They're few, but very unsettling for those who know and love her.

On a more light-hearted note, Guardian!Anwen 🤝 Elem!Anwen : screaming at the gods, demanding miracles instead of praying for them 🤣🦋

As for the fact that she may no longer age... Wait and see 🤭😏

As for Galaëd, until me and @lilypixy have actually played through the PS and all seasons with Rorschach and Galaëd, I can only form blurry pictures of what his and Canach's relationship will be.

Galaëd develops a very reluctant crush as soon as Canach joins the war effort in the Silverwastes, he learns to actually know Canach and falls in love during the campaign of Maguuma, Canach realises Galaëd fancies him just before Dragon's Stand and that he actually loves him after he rescues him from Caudecus' manor. They are separated by Canach's duty to Anise and his need to taste and enjoy complete liberty after his release and they'd probably become a couple during or after the war against Balthazar.

As for how their relationship will evolve afterwards... I don't know! If they were to follow the game's canon without any alterations, they'd be the epitome of 'relationship status : it's complicated' and I'm not sure that's what I want for them, but at the same time I understand Canach's character arc and his need for freedom (and a bit of revenge over life) after *vaguely gestures* everything. So I wouldn't want his relationship with Galaëd to derail his character development! But at the same time, that character development can also include him learning that not all relationship equal entrapment and that some people are worth staying for... I don't know!! I love this cactus 🌵 I love my autumn twig 🍂 and I want them to smooch and be happy and healthy together! GAH!! 😫🤣

Wiiiiii! Went with Anwen and Galaëd here, I hope that's okay for you ^^ By the Mists, I wish these two verses could meet somehow 😄 the sheer amounts of nonsense they'd plunge the world into would be magnificent! 🤣

💍 Does your OC have a specific item that is priceless to them but may (or may not) be completely worthless to someone else? Is there a story behind this item or is it just because they like it so much?

Galaëd has a bud of Caladbolg, that he had encased in a bead of glass and mounted as a pendant. He has held onto it since the fight against Mazdak, where he briefly carried the Thorn and keeps it even more preciously since Trahearne's death and resurrection.

Anwen has a strong attachment to her armour - the pauldrons Faren gifted her during her recovery from the battle against the Earth Elemental that owed her the title of Heroine of Shaemoor particularly. But practicality must prevail and when her breastplate and spaulder are damaged, sunken and torn by Faolain's attacks, she doesn't hesitate to abandon them to carry on the fight against Mordremoth and save Trahearne. Her brother will make sure to replace them with identical pieces during her year of recovery! As for an irreplaceable item she would never in a thousand years part with, it will be her wedding ring.

⚖️ What is the biggest crime your OC has committed? Are they a theif, a cheat, a liar? What is the smallest, most petty crime they’ve committed? Or do they not do crime at all?

Galaëd is a little trouble maker, but the pranks he pulls are always harmless and generally good spirited (confuse, don't abuse) , so if they might be borderline illegal, he would probably never face any serious repercussion for them.

As for Anwen, I'm quite sure some amongst the Pact would call her a deserter for her sudden and irrevocable resignation, following Trahearne's demotion.She's also a deicide, which might be considered a crime depending on how severely religion is enforced in Ascalonian, Krytian and Elonian society, and will either way probably lead to a huge schism in the cult of Balthazar... If you defeat the God of War in fair combat, do you de-facto ascend to godhood ?

Galaëd has for most maintained his image of white-knight Valiant, if touches of colours and a reputation of jester ended up completing the picture. He's mainly known as the Commander's best friend and battle brother. But having a certain someone in his life might entice more... prickly rumours. After all, if Canach and him are indeed partners, then perhaps the secondborn's not as mean as he seems... or the valiant not as nice. 😏

Anwen has been the talk of Divinity's Reach sheltered nobility since her entrance in society. Spurning rounds of suitors -- one of them, too insistent in his attentions, ending up flying through a window of her parents ballroom. Embracing the path of the Guardian, and devoting herself to Kormir. Joining the Seraph in the battle to protect Shaemoor. Joining the Priory when she could easily have a life of leisure in the capital. Dancing around her feelings for Trahearne for almost three years before these two idiots finally took the leap. (even if, to be absolutely fair, these particular rumours merely seeped through the Pact to the rest of the world...)And of course there are talks about her humanity or lack-there-of. After all, she's a dragon's champion and a deicide... and in the years to come people might start noticing... she hasn't aged a day since her return from Elona.

 The Gates of Heaven; where the Margonites attacked Orr and Abbadon was struck down by the other 5 Gods. The Citadel destroyed by the Charr armies en route to march on the Gates of Arah itself.  

My side fan-project suddenly comes into the spotlight with today’s teaser that we’ll be returning to Orr on July 25th! I’ve been working at this on and off since April, and I have pages and pages of sketchbook environment ideas for it, and who knows? maybe I’ll take it further?
